“There is a lot of talk about the influence of histamine on hormones and fertility, but I find clinically many practitioners remain unclear about what constitutes high, normal and low histamine, how to clinically assess actual levels AND when it’s relevant to an individual's hormone & fertility presentation. High oestrogen is NOT always associated with elevated histamine. High histamine is NOT always associated with oestrogen excess. And treating everyone with a given condition (e.g. endometriosis) as if they have histamine issues, is clinically erroneous. However, when the issue does exist, almost nothing else matters if it’s not managed effectively.
