This program includes: 4 x 30- minute exercise sessions expertly delivered by Nat, with movements specific to optimising bone health, reversing osteopenia risk and increasing performance in everyday function. This 4- part series introduces strength, balance, impact and power training concepts, specific to increasing muscle mass and bone health, and decreasing risk of falls, fractures and overall chronic disease risk. As we age (from age 30-33), we see a natural decline in bone mineral density (BMD) every year, and for all those who go through menopause, we see a rapid decline between the ages of 45-55. Low BMD can lead to fractures, increase morbidity risk, and reduced quality of life.
