Advanced Diagnostic Testing
Understanding your specific hormonal picture can transform the precision of your treatment plan. Raul will recommend testing where it adds genuine clinical value: never as a default.
These tests are not included in the package price and will be quoted separately if recommended.
General bloods (optional)
Full blood count, liver function, and lipid profile are not gut tests, but they tell us things your microbiome results alone cannot. Chronic gut dysfunction affects how your liver processes toxins, how your body manages inflammation, and how well you absorb the nutrients that keep your lipid profile in balance. These markers give us the broader clinical picture, so we are treating the whole person, not just the gut in isolation. If clinically indicated, these can be added to your programme.
Hormonal Testing (where clinically indicated)
Solely recommended for patients where circumstances suggest hormones are contributing to gut symptoms. Where indicated, Raul will test for oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and other key hormones known to directly affect gut function and microbiome balance.
